WHU fan stabbed to death last night on way home from game...
Surprised this is not already on here?

Been confirmed on OLAS FB page that he was a hammer on his way home from last night's game.

From The Independent...

"A teenager has died after being stabbed on an east London street, becoming the third person in the capital to be knifed to death in just three days.

The 18-year-old man was killed in Forest Gate, a short walk from the street where a 14-year-old boy was shot dead in September. No arrests have been made in either case.

Police, paramedics and London’s Air Ambulance were called to Chestnut Avenue at about 10.50pm on Monday. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene around 40 minutes later.

He is thought to be the twelfth teenager killed by knife or gun crime in the capital in 2018.

Scotland Yard launched a murder probe and appealed for witnesses. No arrests have been made.

Detective Inspector John Marriott said: "We are at the early stages of the investigation, but are keen to hear from anyone who may have been in the area last night and may have seen or heard anything"

I'm sure you're correct in your assessment.

But they are full - just full of people who for one reason or another shouldn't be there.

Nurse it actually goes back to the initial funding cuts for the CPS as they dont have enough resources to put case together properly, hence leading to a lot of appeals and delays. If they had that initial funding then the appeal system wouldn't be so easily abused.

Russ the problem is that if politicians give a strong view and try and tackle it then they will lose a set number of their voters, so they are better off keeping out of it and ignoring it.

The country is fucked and getting worse daily. Bit like our team tbh

Re: WHU fan stabbed to death last night on way home from game...
Fifth, the priusons aren't really full though.

They are littered up with people that need to be deported yet in some cases these people are sat in there for up to 4 years. I know of one lad in a double bang up cell that is a bit of a lunatic so they put him on his own and he should have been deported 3 years before. He is happy to go back yet they haven't sent him out.

Too many lawyers earning money and trying to delay all applications so they can look after these people. So the backlog starts with the funding of the CPS, which is massively underfunded as they can't put proper strong cases together and hence there is lots of rooms for appeals etc. Plus they have closed courts and hence cases take longer to get listed.

Read secret of a barrister, it gives a very good insight into the legal system.

Most of the people inside are career criminals and a sentence doesn't deter them and they will go back to the same thing.

the whole system is massively underfunded and unless it gets looked at from a top down and bottom up strategy and people listen then it will just keep getting worse.

We pay or squadies to sit at home in their barracks cleaning their gats. Put them on the streets. That way they’ll feel some worth in their employment and the public will feel a darn sight safer. Oh and it won’t cost us a penny more!!!

Some very good posts on here.

So, a load of football fans have suggested:

1) Outlaw knives and categorise them the same as guns.

2) Increase stop and search and any people found with knives are put on a tag and monitored and made to sign in twice a day at local nick.

3) Reduce foreign aid and use extra money to build more prisons, increase police and prison staff numbers.

4) Build prisons abroad and ship offenders abroad pushing the scum out and creating construction and employment opportunities in other countries.

So all of the above just from a load of footy fans who just pop some thoughts on a footy forum. Yet the politicians in this country do nothing.

Anchor them off the coast, and fill them full of lags.

Was reading that four men jumped out of two cars and stabbed him.
His mother died when he was young and his grandfather died recently and left him money that he spent on a car. Speculation that these subhuman scum were after the car.
Was a student who wanted to become a lawyer . An 18yo kid with a season ticket just going home from the match.

How about using the foreign aid money to build prisons in the countries we sen...give aid to, then shipping the convicts off to those prisons?

Win-win, in my book; countries that need aid get to employ loads of their own people building the prisons at no cost to themselves, then a guaranteed supply of inmates to fill them.

They, too, could be all in it together.

Nurse Ratched 7:15 Wed Apr 18
Re: WHU fan stabbed to death last night on way home from game...
Cease all foreign aid from today. Build a fuck-ton of prisons with the money that we'll save.

Easy answer, isn't it.

Fifth Column 6:59 Wed Apr 18
Re: WHU fan stabbed to death last night on way home from game...
The prisons are full in fact most have many, many more inmates than they were designed for. This makes it harder to rehabilitate and to control.

Having said that like someone else said you could put more of the non violent people out on tag and proper probation and happily lock up anyone that gets found with a knife for a much longer time period.

Research shows though that sentences don't have much of a deterrent effect i.e. it won't stop people carrying knives necessarily but it will mean that those who do carry knives are taken off the streets longer when caught.

And blaming Khan is nonsense, over 20,000 Police numbers down under the Tories. Even Home Office own research demonstrates a link between increased crime and decreased police numbers. Violent crime is up nationally and not particularly disproportionately in London.

We need more police.

Re: WHU fan stabbed to death last night on way home from game...
The prisons aren't full, they are just understaffed.

Whatever the numbers are that they say are a full number is due to a liberal approach. Life inside is really not that bad.

They managed to find space for the extra 1,000 or so that they rounded up.

There are a lot of people inside that could be let out on tag for offences where being inside doesn't work for some crimes.

It wouldn't take long for 1,000 trouble makers to be pulled from the streets to make them safe again.

Perhaps every night for a month and then every weekend for the rest of the year or random nights thereafter.

Newham - They are wasting 17.5 million on re-modelling Stratford gyratory which has seemed to work OK for over 40 years.

The end result will be more jams and polution.

Money could have been better spent on tackling knife crime, young people support etc.

BaaaaaH!

Mike Oxsaw 6:12 Wed Apr 18
Re: WHU fan stabbed to death last night on way home from game...
Still money that could be better spent though - and even if the City did, policing it diverts resources from fighting crime, no matter where the money comes from - even a policeman cannot be in two places at once.
